6 DAYS IN NEW YORK

Wow, what an amazing honeymoon/vacation Miguel and I had. We were able to do so much and I'm pretty sure I checked off everything on my list and more! We walked miles and miles all around Manhattan, Brooklyn, Upper East/Lower East and everywhere in between. I got to see the statue of liberty but my camera died so I wasn't able to take any pictures of that event.

Here's a couple of things Miguel and I were able to see/do! enjoy.

A DAY IN BROOKLYN

Miguel and I are "city" people. So we decided to not go with the usual walk on the beach honeymoon, instead we went "still here" to New York City. We've been here for three days now and it was been such a fun experience. The first two days were filled with A LOT of walking and shopping at H&M and Forever 21.

Today, we went to Brooklyn where there is an amazing thrift store called "The Thing" It has a basement full of stacks and stacks of records. Miguel has a real passion for music and collecting funk/soul/disco/break records. While he was digging (how they call "shopping" for records) I was able to take a lot of cool pics of the amazing shop

BLONDE IS BEAUTIFUL

I never thought I would ever have the courage to drastically change my hair style but last week I felt the urge to try something new...

I WENT BLONDE!

It was such a long process since 80% of my long hair had black color on it. We bleached my hair over and over going from black to orange/yellow and finally FOUR hours later... I became a blonde. I hadn't told anyone I was going to do it besides my husband (because I can't keep anything from him) and my roommate. It was a such a fun surprise to everyone! So far I really like the new change but we'll see how long I stay a blonde for... maybe a permanent thing?

IN THE NUDE

I am OBSESSED with nude colors, especially for the fall. The nude/neutral palettes are versatile and classic.
