i have been wanting a clipless curling iron for-ev-er

and it came in the mail today

i ended up ordering the Royale 1" a.k.a. 25mm

it's amazing how different curls come out with this iron verses a regular curling iron

my hair looks a lot fuller and sexy :)

i searched around for a while to get the best deal: $39.00 + free shipping

it first came last week but when i opened it i noticed that the barrel was a cone shape and not a true 1" throughout... so i contacted the seller (Nice Times) and exchanged it for the one i wanted with no problem!

miguel took me to the San Gennaro festival on sunday

it was my first fair where they had actual gambling right when you walk in haha

they had all kinds of italian food and desserts (cannolis) yummmm

there were little shops, a mini zoo, carnival rides, and games.

the view from the top of the farris wheel was BREATHTAKING

the lights went on and on from the fair right down to the las vegas strip...

All Things Pretty

i found the prettiest fresh flowers to put on my coffee table at a market by my place

they give such a positive vibe...

these two glass vases were "3 wick candles" that i burned through

i look the labels off and washed them... 

they turned out to be very multi-purpose

Photo Shoot

 a few days ago i had a mini photo shoot just to get some basic pictures of myself...

in vegas, when applying for jobs you need to send photos of yourself along with a application/resume.

so i finally set something up!

in 45 minutes we got some nice photos :)

it was a lot of fun!

Bargain Shopper

all this for under $100

the first store i went to was Arden B. they were having a 65% off already marked down clothing.

i ended up finding a beautiful dress, perfect for new years (far left) i just need to get it altered a inch or two because im short.

i also found the perfect fitting pair of skinny pants in a camel color. i didnt own anything like them...

then, i stopped into f21 of course.

ive been in desperate need of tops and i found THREE...all in gorgeous colors: burnt orange, nude, and navy blue.

for accessories i ended up getting two necklaces in brushed silver and regular silver that look good layered together.

Labor Day OOTD

Labor day was so much fun for me... NO WORK!

the best part about shopping on a holiday is that every store has sales.

i left Fashion Show Mall with everything i wanted

but TODAYS post is on my outfit i wore today:

H&M sundress. this dress was actually longer (above the knee) and i cut it shorter to flatter my height :)

F21 necklace & bangles 

BAKERS lace-up wedges (i swear these go with any outfit)

LAMB leather nude handbag (i only take this baby out on special occasions lol)

i made a online elf purchase a few weeks ago and i am really happy with what i got from their studio line. i found a online discount code for 50% off all studio so everything was $1.50!!!!

all of the brushes are so soft and the quality is AMAZING for the price.

(even softer than some of my sigma brushes)...

another love is the shimmer palette, it's perfect for highlighting the brow and cheek bones :)

the other three things are products i heard of from youtube...
